Captions Agreement

All videos must be captioned prior to completion. Instructions on how to do this will be provided on training.

  • Captions must be accurate and not contain mistakes.
  • Captions must capture the full spoken audio and any important sound effects that convey meaning.
  • Captions must be in an accessible font size, face and colour. For example, a white font with a grey border.
  • Captions must be added to all videos within 14 days of publication.

Terms and Conditions

  • All forms received will be reviewed and processed to ensure the platform is suitable for the request.
  • If approved, you will be provided with the login details and a short summary of the platform.
  • The username and password for the platform must not be shared or forwarded to others without permission.
  • Use of the platform is for Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust purposes only.
  • You must adhere to the Communications Policy (CP385) and the Information Governance Policy (CP292).
  • All videos must feature the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust branding and the font must be simple and clear. Logos can be found on Pattie.
  • All scripts, captions and information included within the video must be approved by the Patient Experience committee before it is published.
  • Completed videos must be sent to leah.coneyworth1@nhs.net for approval. Once approved, the video will be uploaded.
  • Alternative languages are permitted, however an English version must be approved first.
