Manager Agreement

Your manager must also agree to:

  • Explain the purpose of the programme and have a great conversation with participants about why they want to support them on the programme both a personal and performance level.
  • Invite them to attend and ensure all the programme dates are in their diaries with an expectation to attend as a priority.
  • Ensure that they are not pressurised to cancel attendance due to "operational pressures" unless there is a major incident or serious extenuating personal/business circumstances.
  • Where progress is not as expected or participants are not engaged, discuss further development back in the workplace to ensure they are supported to the best of their abilities to complete the programme. We don't want this to be just about programme attendance figures but also are they taking action based on what they have learned?
  • Be supportive, visible and proactive with the participants on the programme in the improvements and changes they want to make.

Your manager will receive this agreement in an email and must respond to the email to confirm.
