Uniform Order Form

Please be aware from 1 September 2024 the linen service will no longer be ordering uniforms it does not hold a budget for.

54% of all uniform orders are recharged for each month which use up a lot of resources. On average most wards and departments only order 1 or 2 uniforms per month.

Training on ordering uniforms on eProcurement will be available on request by emailing David Stothard on david.stothard2@nhs.net

The uniforms that need to be ordered by your ward or department are:

  • All new starters
  • All new roles / promoted staff
  • All unfunded roles which include:
    • Trainee student nurses
    • Nurse associates band 4
    • Ward PDA
    • Flow chasers
    • Housekeepers
    • Any recent new job roles
  • All unfunded items which include:
    • Smart scrubs
    • Lightweight uniforms
    • Tabards
  • All unfunded wards and departments which include:
    • ICU
    • Fire safety team
    • Tobacco cessation team
    • Occupational therapy
    • Any new departments
  • Any uniforms for staff who are mainly based in NLaG.

The linen service will continue to order:

  • Replacement uniforms for existing staff, but not including unfunded roles or unfunded departments
  • Maternity uniforms
  • Bank staff through Suite 21 at CHH

Please note Linen Services does not order scrubs for wards or departments. These need to be ordered through your own department using their budget codes. There is no funding for these items within the uniform budget held by Linen Services.
